“The Legend Lives On”… at the 7th annual “Tribute to the Edmund Fitzgerald”, which is a fundraiser for
Lewiston Council on the Arts.
This multi-sensory and multi-media tribute experience will be hosted by artist and Edmund Fitzgerald
enthusiast, Thomas Paul Asklar.
• 15 minute presentation explaining the ship’s history, and timeline of the tragedy
• Tolling of the bells will honor the souls of the 29 crew members lost in the storm
• Internationally renowned musicians will perform songs with a nautical theme, including Gordon Lightfoot’s most
famous musical tribute, the “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald”.
• A special batch of Chocolate “Edmund Fitzgerald Porter”
made by Great Lakes Brewing Compny will be on tap
• Prizes and give-aways will add to the fun
